Art exhibition at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Leeds, by the artist COSTAS EVANGELATOS.--- We are delighted to hold an art exhibition at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Leeds, by the artist Costas Evangelatos from Athens, Greece. The paintings are inspired by posters and presentations from the 18th Symposium on Topological Quantum Information that took place in Athens, May 2015. Costas has participated also in the 16th, 17th, 18th and 20th Symposia (Athens, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016) with talks on the use of mathematical and physical symbols in art as well as with painting exhibitions during the poster presentations. The exhibition will take place between 20th and 27th of March 2017. Exhibits related to the latest Nobel Prize in Physics will also be presented. Contact: Jiannis K. ART INVASION- ΕΙΣΒΟΛΗ ΤΕΧΝΗΣ ΤΟΥ ΚΩΣΤΑ ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΑΤΟΥ ΣΤΗ ΣΧΟΛΗ ΦΥΣΙΚΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΣΤΡΟΝΟΜΙΑΣ ΤΟΥ UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS.--- Στη Σχολή Φυσικής και Αστρονομίας του περίφημου Πανεπιστημίου Leeds της Αγγλίας- School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Leeds, U.K. θα παρουσιαστεί η νέα ζωγραφική σειρά έργων του γνωστού εικαστικού και θεωρητικού Κώστα Ευαγγελάτου - Costas Evangelatos από 20-27 Μαρτίου 2017. Τίτλος της πρωτότυπης και ιδιότυπης έκθεσης-εγκατάστασης Εισβολή Τέχνης - Art Invasion. Τα έργα της έκθεσης εμπνεύστηκε ο καλλιτέχνης από τις επιστημονικές ανακοινώσεις των διεθνών Συμποσίων Τοπολογικής Κβαντικής Πληροφορικής που είχε παρακολουθήσει το 2013, 2014, 2015 και 2016 στο Παλαιό Πανεπιστήμιο-Μουσείο Αθηνών. Στα Συμπόσια αυτά λειτουργούσαν παράλληλα εκθέσεις έργων του, ενώ το 2014 είχε μιλήσει και ο ίδιος στην αγγλική γλώσσα για τη χρήση μαθηματικών και εννοιολογικών συμβόλων στη σύγχρονη τέχνη.
